Further to the Western Australian government's recent announcement, some interim restrictions will remain in place for another week, however, this may change dependent on advice by the Department of Health. 

From Monday 3 May: 
• ECC will return to pre-lockdown arrangements
• The ECC Welcome Centre will return to normal opening hours
• Room capacities will return to the 2sqm rule
• The Pearson Test Centre will return to normal capacity
• Classes will return to normal teaching mode
Please note the following:
• Face masks are still required to be worn when inside and if you are unable to physically distance when outdoors
• You are encouraged to have a mask with you when you leave home

Monday 26 April 2021 @ 4.45pm

Further to today’s announcement by the Western Australian government, interim restrictions will remain in place for the remainder of the week, however, this may change dependent on advice by the Department of Health. From Tuesday 27 April: 

- classes will continue online all week following the government directive to universities
- the Welcome Centre will be open for enquiries only via phone and email
- the Student Counsellor will be available for appointments only via phone, Zoom

 

Pearson tests

Testing will also resume on Tuesday 27 April but at reduced capacity. Masks are mandatory. Pearson candidates should check their emails.

Friday 23 April 2021 @ 4.00pm

The Perth metropolitan area and Peel districts will enter a hard lockdown effective 12pm (midnight), 23 April, however, masks are mandatory from 6pm.

Further to today’s announcement by the Western Australian government, the ECC campus will be closed to staff, students, Pearson candidates and any other visitors until midnight Monday 26 April. This may change, dependent on advice by the Department of Health.

Note:

Saturday 24 April Pearson tests are cancelled;

Monday 26 April is a public holiday.

Perth metro, Peel and South West to enter hard lockdown effective 6pm, 31 January.

Further to today’s announcement by the Western Australian government, the ECC campus will be closed to staff, students, Pearson candidates and any other visitors from Monday 1 February to Friday 5 February. This may change, dependent on advice by the Department of Health.

Thursday 2 April

We are proud to announce that ECC will now be moving online for our ELICOS program commencing on 28 April 2020 and Diploma courses commencing in Trimester 2, June 2020. As we move online our focus remains on providing a robust solution and supportive education environment, to facilitate academic success.

The admissions process remains unchanged. Applications will continue to be assessed, and acceptances will continue to be processed. Please see our FAQs for full information.

Wednesday 25 March

Due to the increased global spread of COVID-19 and following advice from the Federal Department of Health, Edith Cowan College will move to online teaching from 30 March 2020 until further notice.

At Edith Cowan College we take the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff seriously, and so we are taking proactive and precautionary steps that includes the suspension of face-to-face teaching. However, technology enables us to continue all classes via online platforms.
