Student must complete the following units:

  • Introductory Computing
  • Introductory Mathematics
  • Communication Skills
  • Introductory Physics
  • Introductory Chemistry
  • Introductory Applied Maths
  • Year 1 Elective

Diploma of Science (Engineering Studies) (Year 2) units

Student must complete the following units:

  • Engineering Drawing and Computer Aided Design
  • Materials and Manufacturing
  • Mathematics 1
  • Introduction to Engineering
  • Mathematics 2
  • Electrical Engineering 1B
  • Introduction ot Energy and Resource Engineering
  • Engineering Mechanics

Pre-requisite units:

  • Introductory Physics*
  • Introductory Applied Maths*

*These two units are additional units for students who have not completed the prerequisite study at Year 12 (or equivalent)

Entry into 2nd year of

  • Bachelor of Aviation - 8 units
  • Bachelor of Engineering Honours Chemical, Civil, Civil and Environmental, Computer Systems, Electrical Power, Electrical and Renewable Energy, Electronics and Communications, Instrumentation Control and Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Petroleum - 8 units
