Edith Cowan College (ECC) has extensive experience in designing and organising tours; we specialise in English language (ELICOS) programs and ELICOS teacher training.
ECC Study Tours combine ELICOS with activities in and around Perth, as well as day tours to explore a little more of Western Australia.
The Study Tours are delivered by fully qualified and experienced ELICOS teachers. Students will develop communicative and academic skills in a way that is interactive and builds confidence.
English Language Tuition
Students will be in a closed class with their own fully qualified teacher. The English component can be delivered either full or part-time or a mixture of both. Classes can commence at any time except during ECC study breaks.
Note: minimum 9 students and maximum 20 students per class. For a tour to be cost effective, a minimum of 15 students is recommended.
Please note that these courses are not available to student visa holders as their principal course.
Students can stay with an Australian host family (Homestay) giving them a unique cultural experience whilst enhancing their everyday English communication skills. Study Tours uses the quality services of the Australian Homestay Network (AHN).
Students may also stay in on-campus accommodation on the ECU Mt Lawley campus. This is apartment style accommodation with 5-6 private and secure bedrooms per apartment, 2 shared bathrooms plus shared kitchen and living spaces.
