We are excited to announce the launch of our new Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) – Social Work, leading into the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) at Edith Cowan University (ECU).

The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) at ECU requires students to hold a Bachelor’s degree in a cognate discipline, such as Social Sciences, Community and Human Services, Sociology, Behavioural Sciences, Counselling, or Psychological Sciences.

For students who do not meet this requirement, ECC’s PQP – Social Work provides an alternative pathway. Applicants with a three-year Bachelor’s degree in any field may now qualify for entry into the PQP – Social Work, followed by two years of the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program at ECU.

- 2025 Tuition Fee: $34,425 AUD
- Duration: 12 months

- Academic Entry Requirement: Equivalent to an Australian Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- English Entry Requirement:
  - Entry into PQP: IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.5) or equivalent
  - Entry into the Master’s program after completion of PQP is – IELTS 7.0 (no band less than 7.0) or equivalent
