Orientation is day one of your ECC journey. You can expect a fun-filled and relaxed event where you will meet new students and ECC staff, and get all the information and assistance you need to enrol and get started with your studies. You’ll also hear about the support services available to you, like academic support, student wellbeing and student services.
Before you attend Orientation Day, we will send you an online Orientation Induction, which is compulsory for all new students. By attending Orientation, you are ensuring that you are enrolled and organised before you officially start your classes.

If you run late on orientation day in the morning, please come to the college as soon as possible so you can still join us for activities.
If you arrive after 12pm, you will have to come back the next day (Thursday or Friday) to attend our daily help session.
If you happen to miss Orientation Day, please come to ECC Joondalup campus Welcome Centre. One of our friendly student services team can help you with any queries you may have. More information will be sent to you via email closer to the date.

If you are late, see us at ECC Welcome Centre (ECU Mount Lawley campus) as soon as you can.
If you missed your Orientation Day, don’t worry! Please visit us at the Welcome Centre as soon as possible. One of our friendly Student and Academic Services Officers will be available to assist you with everything you need to get started.
