Greetings from Edith Cowan College (ECC). We are pleased to share some exciting updates regarding our courses.

Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) – Social Work

Do you have students who don’t have a degree in social work but are interested in pursuing a career in this field? We’ve got you covered!

Applications are now open for the February 2026 intake of the PQP – Social Work.

This course is designed specifically for students who do not hold a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related areas.

Key Details:

Two intakes each year: February and July
Duration: 12 months
2026 Tuition fees: A$35,500 per year
English requirement: IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.5) or equivalent

Diploma + Bachelor of Community and Human Services

Our Diploma of Communications & Creative Industries now offers a pathway to ECU’s brand-new Bachelor of Community and Human Services (C58), commencing in 2026. Students will get 6 units exemption on completion of the Diploma program and will be required to complete 2.5 years at ECU.

Replacing the Bachelor of Social Science, this new program has been developed in consultation with industry and the community to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in this sector.

Broader coverage of community and human services, increasing career opportunities
Two professional placements to build skills and industry connections
Flexible electives to explore areas of interest
