Edith Cowan College came alive with energy and excitement during its recent Sports Day, bringing students and staff together for a vibrant celebration of sport and community.
The highlight of the day was a lively soccer match between students and lecturers. With friendly rivalry in the air, both teams showed impressive skill and spirit. The crowd cheered loudly as the students claimed a victory of 2-0, sparking plenty of smiles and maybe a rematch in the future!
But the fun didn’t stop at the soccer field. Nearby, students lined up at the henna art table, where talented artists created beautiful, intricate designs. It was a peaceful and creative contrast to the high-energy games, offering a chance to relax and connect with cultural traditions.
For those who preferred indoor sports, table tennis matches were in full swing, drawing a steady crowd of players and spectators. Fast-paced rallies and quick reflexes made for some thrilling moments throughout the day.
Sports Day at ECC was more than just games; it was about community, connection, and creating memories. Whether you were scoring goals, getting a henna tattoo, or simply cheering from the sidelines, the event had something for everyone.
We can’t wait for the next one!
