ECC Virtual Studies Scholarship

Value

The scholarship offers a AUD4000 tuition fee deposit reduction.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Be a new student commencing an ECC Diploma (Year 2) in either Trimester 2 (June) 2021, Trimester 3 (October) 2021;
  • Be a citizen of Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Egypt, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Korea (South), Macau, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe, or any other country determined by ECC;
  • Be enrolling into an ECC Diploma program for the first time.

Conditions

  • Applicants are able to package with ELICOS, as long as they commence an ECC Diploma (Year 2) in either Trimester 2 (June) 2021, Trimester 3 (October) 2021.
  • The scholarship is open to prospective students and offer holders. It is not open to currently enrolled ECC students, or students who have already accepted an ECC Offer.
  • The scholarship amount cannot be refunded or transferred.

 

ECC Diploma Scholarship

Value

The ECC Diploma Scholarship is offered to eligible international students commencing a Diploma program with ECC. The scholarship offers a 10% reduction in your tuition fees for all Diploma (Year 2) units undertaken at ECC.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Be a new student commencing an ECC Diploma program, in either Trimester 3 (October) 2020, Trimester 1 (February) 2021, Trimester 2 (June) 2021, Trimester 3 (October) 2021;
  • Be a citizen of Bhutan, India, Nepal or Pakistan;
  • Be enrolling into an ECC Diploma program for the first time.

Conditions

  • Applicants are able to package with ELICOS, as long as they commence an ECC Diploma program in either Trimester 3 (October) 2020, Trimester 1 (February) 2021, Trimester 2 (June) 2021, Trimester 3 (October) 2021.
  • The 10% scholarship will be applied to all Diploma units undertaken at ECC.
  • The scholarship is open to prospective students and offer holders. It is not open to current ECC students.

ECC A$1000 Bursary

Value

The bursary offers AUD1000 towards your initial Trimester deposit.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Commence an ECC Diploma (Year 1) in either Trimester 2 (June) 2021, Trimester 3 (October) 2021;
  • Be enrolled in a full-time study-load.

Conditions

  • Applicants are able to package with ELICOS, as long as they commence an ECC Diploma (Year 1) in either Trimester 2 (June) 2021, Trimester 3 (October) 2021, or Trimester 1 (February) 2022.
  • The bursary is open to prospective students and offer holders. It is not open to currently enrolled ECC students, or students who have already accepted an ECC Offer.
  • The bursary amount cannot be refunded or transferred.

  

ECC Pathway Scholarship

Value

The ECC Pathway scholarship is offered to all international students commencing a Diploma program with ECC. The scholarship offers a 20% reduction for the remainder of your course at ECU.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Commence an ECC Diploma program in 202101, 202102 or 202103;
  • Achieve a minimum WAM (Weighted Average Mark) of 75 on completion of your ECC Diploma.

English Scholarship

ECC offers 10-week English scholarship to international students who combine English with a Diploma or PQP program at ECC followed by a degree at ECU. This scholarship is valid for applications received up to 31 December 2021.

 

ECC Re-Enrolment Bursary

Value

The bursary offers AUD1000 towards your second Trimester tuition fees only.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Re-enrol into an ECC Diploma in Trimester 2 (June) 2021;
  • Your first trimester must be in Trimester 1 (February) 2021;
  • Maintain a full-time study-load of 3 or 4 units.

Conditions

  • The bursary amount cannot be refunded or transferred if you subsequently withdraw, defer or exit from the course.

Dr Peter Larsen Award for Academic Excellence

This is an award of AUD2000 to the top continuing or graduating student in the current study period, having been enrolled in 4x Year 2 modules and having passed them in their first attempt.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • have been studying a full load (ie 4 modules and not just a final module in that program)
  • have passed all 4 modules in their first attempt
  • must be a continuing or graduating student (not a first trimester/new to college student) (this eligibility criteria was introduced from the 201903 graduation onwards, to avoid Navitas Merit Awardees also being eligible for the Dr Peter Larsen Award)
  • exclude YEAR 1, CTFS, TAP, PQP & ELICOS modules
  • exclude former recipients of the Dr Peter Larsen Award

Navitas academic merit scholarships

The Navitas Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded each semester to the most outstanding results from two students across all programs at a Navitas Pathway College or Managed Campus.

Value

The scholarships are one academic semester or part thereof (equivalent to the maximum of up to five academic subjects) for a Navitas Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (Australia), UTP Stage II or Associate Degree (Canada), UPP or IUTP (USA) or Undergraduate pathway program (UK) at a Navitas college or one academic semester of foundation or undergraduate study at La Trobe University Sydney Campus, Curtin Singapore or Macquarie City Campus or one academic semester of a Master's program at Curtin Singapore or Macquarie City Campus.

Any additional costs, including travel or material such as books or equipment required as part of program will be recipient's responsibility. For programs that articulate directly into a university degree program, the scholarship will cover only the Navitas member institute components of the program for the semester.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a new student in their first academic study period, enrolled and studying towards a Navitas Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (Australia), UTP Stage II or Associate Degree (Canada), UPP or IUTP (USA), Undergraduate pathway program (UK), University Foundation or Bachelor Degree program (Australia) or Master's programs (Australia);
  • Be currently studying full-time;
  • Have achieved competencies in all courses across their current program (for which the scholarship is applied for) in the semester prior to being eligible for the scholarship;
  • Not have any outstanding fees on their student account;
  • Not have previously received a Navitas scholarship or bursary, or had a scholarship or bursary from Navitas withdrawn.

Conditions

  • The scholarship applies to the second semester of enrolment only or the final semester of study for an undergraduate/postgraduate program. Students are liable to pay for any additional courses / subjects undertaken.
  • Successful recipients will not receive any money from the Navitas member institution. The value of the scholarship will be recorded on the student's account during their second semester of study or their final semester of study for an undergraduate/postgraduate program.
  • Scholarships are not transferable to other students or Navitas member institutes in any circumstances.
  • Navitas member institutions reserves the right not to award all or some of the scholarships in a given year.
  • Scholarships cannot be backdated.

Commencement Date

Two scholarships are awarded each semester.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on:

  • Academic results (GPA) from their previous semester of study. Should two students have identical academic results, the scholarship panel will refer back to marks awarded within each subjects/course to ascertain the scholarship recipient.
  • Additional factors such as educational disadvantage, member of specific equity group and/or significantly adverse personal circumstances may be taken into account where the scholarship panel must differentiate between equally qualified applicants.
  • Outcome of scheduled interview (if required).

Notification of results

The scholarship panel from each Navitas member institution will announce the recipients of the Navitas academic merit scholarship upon the completion of each semester and the release of the results. The recipients will be notified by mail and the successful students posted on the college/campus website.

Navitas member institutions

The Navitas scholarship is offered to students studying at BCUIC, Curtin College, Curtin Singapore, CRIC, EIBT, EIC, Eynesbury, FIC, HIC, ICM, ICP, ICRGU, ICWS, La Trobe University Sydney Campus, La Trobe Melbourne, LBIC, Macquarie City Campus, MIBT, MIBT Indonesia, PUIC, ECC, QIBT, SAIBT, SIBT, Navitas at FAU, Navitas at UMass Boston, Navitas at UMass Dartmouth, Navitas at UMass Lowell, Navitas at WKU and Navitas at UNH only.

Application instructions

Students are not required to apply for the scholarship as it is awarded based on academic performance and ALL students are eligible.

All terms and conditions are correct as at 2 July 2014 and subject to change without notice or at the discretion of the Navitas member institute or Navitas Ltd.


Navitas family bursaries

Value

The bursary is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fee for up to 8 units of study within one program only with a Navitas member institution. The bursary does not apply to additional units or repeat units that may also be undertaken and excludes mixed English options.

Eligibility

  • Family Bursary applies where two or more students from the same family study at a Navitas institution.
  • The first family member can be studying at a Navitas institution at the same time as the other family members or may have studied at any Navitas institution previously.
  • The family bursary is granted to the second and subsequent family members who study at a Navitas institution.
  • Not have previously received a Navitas scholarship or bursary, or had a scholarship or bursary from Navitas withdrawn.

Definitions

For the purpose of this bursary, a family member is defined as a husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter or stepchild.

Conditions

  • Successful recipients will not receive any money from the Navitas member institution. The value of the bursary will be recorded on the student's account each semester of study.
  • The bursary does not apply to additional units or repeat units that may also be undertaken.
  • Navitas bursary is not applicable to English language program or any component of any English language program offered by Navitas member institutions.

Navitas member institutions

The Navitas bursary applies to students studying at BCUIC, Curtin College, Curtin Singapore, CRIC, Deakin College, EIBT, EIC, Eynesbury, FIC, Griffith College, HIC, ICM, ICP, ICRGU, ICWS, La Trobe Melbourne, La Trobe University Sydney Campus, LBIC, NIC, PUIC, ECC, SAIBT, SIBT, Navitas at FAU, Navitas at UMass Boston, Navitas at UMass Dartmouth, Navitas at UMass Lowell, Navitas at UNH, UC College, UCIC, UNIC, Western Sydney University International College, and Western Sydney University – Sydney City Campus.

A completed application must be submitted to the Navitas institution together with supporting documents, such as birth certificate, or family card. Application form can be obtained here.

 

ECC Enrolment Bursary

Value

The ECC Enrolment Bursary is offered to all international students commencing an ECC Diploma program in Trimester 3, 2020 or Trimester 1, 2021. The bursary offers a AUD2000 tuition fee discount; AUD1000 towards your initial Trimester, and AUD1000 towards the subsequent Trimester.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Commence an ECC Diploma program in Trimester 3, 2020 or Trimester 1, 2021;
  • Maintain a full-time study-load;
  • Be in good standing at the completion of your first Trimester of study, and enrol in the subsequent Trimester

Conditions

  • The bursary is not available to students who are currently, or were previously enrolled in an ECC Diploma program.
  • The bursary amount cannot be refunded or transferred.

ECU International Masters Scholarship

Value

The International Masters Scholarship is offered to international students from selected countries who are applying for select Masters degrees at ECU. The scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the first year of your Masters course at ECU.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be a citizen from one of the countries eligible for this scholarship (please click here to see full list)
  • Be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
  • Commence an ECC PQP course in PQ2101

Conditions
