Perth is full of exciting ways to relax, explore, and connect—and ECC’s students recently experienced one of them through a mini‑golf adventure at the beautiful Wanneroo Botanic Gardens. As part of the Discover Perth Through Students’ Eyes campaign, proudly supported by StudyPerth, students swapped textbooks for putters and enjoyed a refreshing day out beyond campus.
Surrounded by lush greenery, winding pathways, and creative course designs, the setting perfectly captured Perth’s laid‑back outdoor lifestyle. From confident opening shots lined up like pros to unexpected rebounds and balls flying slightly off course, every hole delivered laughs and light‑hearted moments. Each new challenge added to the excitement, with students encouraging one another and embracing the fun along the way.
As the game continued, the friendly competition heated up. Scores were debated (all in good spirit), dramatic putts were celebrated, and cheers echoed across the course. While one student eventually claimed victory, the real highlight was the shared experience—enjoying quality time together and discovering another fun side of life in Perth.
Mini golf is just one of the many ways students can explore and enjoy Perth outside the classroom. With popular spots like Wanneroo Botanic Gardens, Hey Caddy, and Holey Moley, there’s no shortage of fun activities to experience with friends. Through campaigns like Discover Perth Through Students’ Eyes, students are encouraged to get out, explore the city, and create memories that make studying in Perth truly special.
