1. Rooftop Movies

Throughout the summer months, right in the heart of Perth, there is a building that has an outdoor cinema on its rooftop! Screening various films from cult classics to recent releases and Hollywood hits, this is a great experience for all ages.

2. Reabold Hill

Reabold Hill is the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain in the metropolitan area. Located in the suburb of Floreat, it is a raised boardwalk offering views of Perth City, the Swan River and the Indian Ocean. This beautifully restored native parklands has a variety of walking trail perfect for those who want to see a lot in a short distance.

3. Late-night dining

Looking for a late-night meal? It helps to know of some good local places to go. Here are some of the best late-night dining options that not everyone knows about;

Alfred’s (Guildford) - Catch the train to Guildford village about 20 minutes from the city for some of the best burgers in town at Alfred’s Kitchen; open every night until midnight and 2am on the weekends.

The Moon (Northbridge) – A great little café to head to after a night of dancing or adventure, located in Northbridge, serving meals until 1am weeknights and 3am on weekends.

Billy Lees (Chinatown, Northbridge) – A great Cantonese restaurant that is quite popular at all times, no booking necessary it is open until 3am during the week and 4am on the weekends.

4. Fremantle Free Bike Hire

Fremantle is a must-see historical city when visiting Western Australia. The City promotes environmentally friendly transportation by offering free bike hire during the day. Bikes are available from the Fremantle Visitor Centre.

5. His Majesty’s Theatre

His Majesty's Theatre was named after the reigning British monarch of 1904, King Edward VII. It is believed to be the only remaining working Edwardian theatre in Australia and is one of only two remaining His Majesty's Theatre's in the world.

6. 24 Hour Supermarkets

Need to do some late-night grocery shopping? Perth has several 24-hour supermarkets including IGA, Spudshed and Rise Supermarket.

7. International Groceries

Perth has quite a lot of international supermarket stores to provide you with those items that aren’t available in Australian Supermarkets. One of the larger stores called “NP Supermarket” sources quality specialised products locally and internationally from Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, China and the Philippines.

8. Yagan Square

Located next to Perth Station and underground bus station is Yagan Square which has been nominated for a public landscape award. Named after an Aboriginal warrior, it is a cultural hub intended as a meeting place with cultural food stores, interactive art installations, children’s playground and free Wifi available throughout Yagan Square.

9. World Class Stadium – Optus Stadium

Perth’s newest stadium “Optus Stadium” has won several awards including 2019 Most Beautiful Sports Facility in the World, 2019 Good Design Gold Winner and 2019 Project of the year at the world’s leading stadium industry awards.

It hosts the worlds greatest sports including soccer, rugby league, rugby union and AFL. Optus Stadium has seen the likes of Ed Sheeran, Eminem and upcoming concerts including Queen and Metallica.
