International students from Edith Cowan College recently had the chance to experience the excitement of the Perth Royal Show, one of Western Australia’s most iconic annual events. From carnival rides and live entertainment to local food and cultural showcases, the day offered a rich and memorable experience for students new to Perth.
This outing was part of Discover Perth Through Students’ Eyes, a student-led initiative proudly supported by StudyPerth. The project invites students to explore and document their experiences around the city, offering a fresh perspective on local life while developing valuable skills along the way.
The featured video, created by Sofiya Sayenko, captures the energy and joy of the day. Sofiya recently graduated from Edith Cowan College and is now continuing her studies at Edith Cowan University. Her work on this project reflects not only her creativity but also the practical skills she’s gained through student-led initiatives.
