This week, we welcomed our new and continuing students to campus for 2026 Orientation, and it was great to see such positive energy across both days. With around 200 students attending, the orientation was designed to help everyone feel supported, informed, and ready to begin their studies.
Our Student Leaders played a vital role in making the experience smooth and welcoming. From registration to helping students move between sessions, they were a friendly first point of contact and helped ease first-day nerves.
A key area of support was ECC and ECU Account Activation, where Student Leaders worked alongside staff to guide students through logging in and accessing essential systems. Their assistance ensured students left feeling confident and digitally prepared.
Student Leaders also led Campus Tours around ECU campus, and despite the hot weather they were able to show students important locations and share helpful tips about campus life. These tours helped students feel more comfortable navigating their new environment and building a sense of belonging.
Overall, the orientation was a success thanks to the teamwork between staff and Student Leaders. Their enthusiasm and support made a real difference, and we thank them for helping create such a positive start to the year.
