Strike, Smile, Repeat: ECC Students Hit the Lanes in Scarborough

ECC students recently enjoyed a fun-filled bowling outing in Scarborough, with plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and memorable moments along the way. From impressive strikes to light-hearted gutter balls, the event gave students a chance to unwind, connect with friends, and experience student life beyond the classroom.

The day was perfectly complemented by a visit to Scarborough Beach—one of Perth’s most famous coastal destinations. Known for its stunning ocean views, vibrant atmosphere, and iconic sunsets, Scarborough is a favourite among both domestic and international students. With its lively foreshore, cafés, street food, and regular community events, it’s the perfect place to relax after a game.

This experience is part of the Discover Perth Through Students’ Eyes project, proudly sponsored by StudyPerth, giving students meaningful ways to explore local culture beyond the classroom. Students looking to keep the fun going can also check out popular venues such as Zone Bowling and AMF Bowling centres across Perth. It’s all part of creating a vibrant, social, and memorable student experience at ECC—on and off campus.
